Hi, I'm Will

I am a versatile B2B and B2C copywriter with experience in marketing and advertising, product and UX, SaaS and start-ups, fashion and food, paid and social media, and communications.

Alongside freelance for boutique brands and agencies, I've been a Senior Copywriter for DataCamp, a 16 million-audience ed-tech platform.

 

Outside of pure copywriting, I led DataCamp's organic social media and was the Global Communications Lead for Whalar, a Cannes Lions-winning creator marketing platform. This included adding a quarter of a million followers to DataCamp's social media channels and overseeing the PR launch of LA's first all-black TikTok creator house (later Adweek's Creator house of 2021).

I have a strong dislike for jargon. A deep interest in clear brand storytelling, communicating new products effectively (and emotionally), maintaining brand consistency at every touchpoint, and using AI to do more with less time.
